The Classification Of Triplophysa Stenura,T.hialmari,T.alexandrae,T.lixianensis,T.brevibarba;T.orientalis,T.hutjertjuensis,T.obscura And A New Spiecies Of The Genus Triplophysa From Sichuan

Based on molecular phylogenetic and morphologic,we revised the taxonomic status of Triplophysa stenura,T.hialmari,T.alexandrae,T.lixianensis,T.brevibarba in Sichuan province as well as T.orientalis,T.hutjertjuensis and T.obscura.The results are as follows:1.T.stenura,T.hialmari,T.alexandrae and T.lixianensis form 1 monophyletic group on the phylogenetic tree while T.brevibarba are completely separated with them.2.“T.orientalis”(T.sp.)collected from Yalong River and T.orientalis are divided into two spieces on the phylogenetic tree in spite of many similarities in morphology.They are completely separated with T.obscura on the phylogenetic tree.3.According to the results of morphological research,There are some morphological differences of T.stenura and T.brevibarba from different basins,coloration,intestinal Coils,shape of caudal peduncle,lip structure and male secondary sexual characteristic,etc.cannot serve as the basis for identifying species of T.stenura.Intestinal Coils and barbel length cannot serve as the basis for identifying species of T.brevibarba.4.By systematically detecting the topotype,our results show that the original description of T.hialmari and T.alexandrae have some distortions.This research compared the topotype of T.hialmari,T.alexandrae and T.lixianensis with the topotype of T.stenura and from other basins in detail.The differences in morphology between T.hialmari,T.alexandrae,T.lixianensis and T.stenura should be regarded as intraspecific difference.Therefore they are the synonyms of T.stenura.5.There are some morphological differences of T.orientalis from different basins.T.orientalis have some characteristic sunch as body scaless,pelvic fin inserted anterior to dorsal-fin origin,gas bladder divided into two parts by a median constriction which distinguishes T.orientalis,T.hutjertjuensis and T.obscura.6.“T.orientalis”(T.sp.)collected from Yalong River is a new spieces that have not been described according to the results of molecular phylogenetic and morphologic.We named this spices Triplophysa shashiguii Wu et Guo sp.nov.and describe it.7.There are some morphological differences of the same spieces from different geographic populations because of geographical isolation,different environment,intraspecific competition and interspecific competition,etc.these differences should be regarded as intraspecific difference instead of interspecific difference.The identification of the genus Triplophysa should be on the basis of Multiple characters instesd of excessively emphasize some environment-related characters.Therefore,it's necessary to collect the locus type specimens and ccompare with them systematically.
