The sustainable development of marine eco-economic system is an important part of sustainable development and the inevitable requirement of ecological civilization construction in china.During the development process Chinese marine economy,over-exploitation of marine natural resources seriously affect the balance of marine eco-economic system and cause many issues like environmental pollution and resource depletion,which restricts the sustainable development of marine economy system in China.This paper studies the sustainable development of Chinese marine economy system is aimed at having a profound understanding understanding of marine economy system and providing guidance for the efficient use of marine natural resources and the protection of marine ecological environment.Guided by the theory of ecological economics,marine economics and emergy theory,this paper makes a comprehensive evaluation of the sustainable development level of Chinese marine eco-economic system system from emergy analysis and efficiency analysis.Firstly,through emergy analysis from energy density,emergy currency ratio,emergy yield ratio,emergy ecological capacity and environmental load ratio evaluate the sustainable development level of Chinese marine eco-economic system.Secondly,SBM model and Malmquist model are used to analysis the development efficiency of Chinese marine eco-economic system and its operation based on emergy analysis.Finally,the emergy sustainable development index is used to analysis the sustainable development level of Chinese marine eco-economic system.The coupling coordination model is used to analysis the coupling coordination relationship between emergy sustainable development index and development efficiency of marine eco-economic system.The following important conclusions are drawn through the study:(1)The energy density is in accordance with the marine economic development level of coastal provinces.The emergy currency ratio was high in the south of Shanghai and low in the north.The emergy yield ratio structures of Chinese marine eco-economic system is dominated the lower emergy yield ratio.The ecological capacity of Chinese marine eco-economic system is predominantly composed of the lower and low capacity.The environmental load ratio is high in the marine economy developed areas.(2)Chinese marine eco-economic system is under undeveloped stage.The sustainable development of regional marine economy is hindered by the low ecological capacity and the high environmental load ratio.(3)Chinese marine eco-economic system has been in a state of low efficiency.However,the whole development efficiency ofChinese marine eco-economic system is increasing.Technological progress is the leading factor to improve the efficiency of marine eco-economic system.(4)The coupling coordination degree between the development efficiency of Chinese marine eco-economic system and its sustainable development level is low.The coupling coordination experienced the process of incoordination,low coupling coordination,moderate coupling coordination and highly coupling coordination.
