A Study On The Habitat Suitability Of The Snub-nosed Monkey In Shennongjia Based On Remote Sensing Data And GIS Spatial Analysis

The study of biological habitat suitability is beneficial to biological habitat evaluation and species conservation.The snub-nosed monkey is a rare and precious and endangered species in our country.Shenlongjia is one of the distribution areas of the snub-nosed monkeys,and the Chinese Biodiversity Conservation Program has classified the snub-nosed monkeys as three priority protected animals.However,due to historical reasons,deforestation and habitat degradation have resulted in serious damage and high degree of fragmentation of habitat living on the snub-nosed monkeys,and their survival status is extremely endangered.In this paper,the habitat distribution of the snub-nosed monkey was predicted by the maximum entropy model,and the relationship between the variable factor and the distribution of the snub-nosed monkey was studied by field investigation and related basic data of Shenlongjia Nature Reserve.The habitat distribution of the snub-nosed monkey was studied by the maximum entropy model.The intrinsic relationship between each factor and habitat was determined,and the suitability of the snub-nosed monkey habitat was evaluated from qualitative transition quantitative study.Using the GIS spatial analysis and data processing technology,the habitat distribution and spatial pattern of the snub-nosed monkey were evaluated comprehensively.And then through the GIS spatial analysis of the habitat to further analysis,to explore the the snub-nosed monkey potential habitat corridor.The main results of the study:1.The main environmental factors influencing the distribution of the snub-nosed monkeys are slope,elevation,road and water source,followed by slopedirection and vegetation type.2.The environmental data of the high habitat of the snub-nosed monkey are1800 m to 2600 m above sea level,the slope is in the range of 0-18 °,the distance of the river is less than 1000 m,the distance of the road is more than 1000 m,the canopy density is 0.8-0.93,Tree height and DBH 10cm-15 cm,the most suitable type of vegetation for the coniferous forest,followed by broad-leaved forest and mixed forest.3.The snub-nosed Monkey's suitable habitat is mainly distributed in the Shenlongjia Nature Reserve,Da(Xiao)Longtan,Qianjiaping,Golden Monkey Ridge and so on.Highly suitable,suitable and low suitable habitat areas are 29.4square kilometers,26.3 square kilometers,58.6 square kilometers,respectively,accounting for the total area of the protected area of about 4.2%,about 3.6%,8.3%.
