The golden monkey is the general title of snub-nosed monkey(Rhinopithecus).Yunnan snub-nosed monkey(Rhinopithecus Bieti),only distributed at the junction of the three provinces of Sichuan,Yunnan and Tibetis.Sichuan snub-nosed monkey(Rhinopithecus Roxellana)is only distributed in Sichuan,Shaanxi,Chongqing and Hubei. As the climate changes, the food choices of the golden monkeys have seasonal changes in feeding strategies.Due to the difference in the geographical distribution and the geographical distribution, the Sichuan snub-nosed monkey has a wider ecological niche and more complex and diverse habitats. The health of wild animals is inseparable from the community structure of intestinal microbes. In the process of natural selection, gut microbes can retain genes that are beneficial to themselves and continuously improve their adaptability. Therefore, gut microbes play an important role in the host's nutrient absorption, material metabolism, signal transduction and other life activities. Therefore, the relationship between the host and the microorganisms is of far-reaching significance for understanding the co-evolution process of the host and the intestinal flora. At present, the response mechanism of intestinal microbial composition and the difference of niche width and habitat complexity has not been reported. Therefore,we conducted a preliminary study of the microbial microbiological composition of the Yunnan snub-nosed monkey and the Sichuan snub-nosed monkey. The effects of gender for intestinal microbiological compositions and the differences in the intestinal microorganisms of different gold monkeys,in order to provide theoretical basis and reference to the habitat of the monkey. The results are as follows:(1)The dominant bacteria of the intestinal flora of Yunnan snub-nosed monkey and Sichuan snub-nosed monkey is Firmicutes(Yunnan snub-nosed monkey: 68.71%± 11.65%;Sichuan snub-nosed monkey: 72.49% ± 16.73%)and Bacteroidetes(Yunnan snub-nosed golden monkey): 72.49% ± 12.76%;Sichuan snub-nosed monkey: 15.82% ± 7.09%),the results are the same as most studies on primates.(2)The intestinal flora of Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys and Sichuan snub-nosed monkeys of different genders are significantly different at each classification level, and gender is not a decisive factor affecting the composition of the intestinal flora. Therefore,it is necessary to further analyze the specific impact mechanism.(3)The diversity of intestinal flora in the Yunnan snub-nosed and the Sichuan snub-nosed monkey has a significant difference.Compared with the Yunnan snub-nosed,the intestinal flora in the Sichuan snub-nosed shows multi-sugar utilization and energy capability, and the Yunnan snub-nosed monkey has strong cellulose decomposition capabilities. We speculate differences in these microbial compositions and functions, which is conducive to the adaptation and higher energy demand of the Sichuan snub-nosed monkey to more food components. In the follow-up research,we will conduct experimental design from factors such as food nutrition, age composition, family unit and seasonal changes, and conduct in-depth analysis to improve our understanding of non-human primates. The research results have certain theoretical significance for formulating protection strategies for golden monkeys in different habitats, preventing golden monkeys from infecting bacterial diseases, and increasing the population of golden monkeys.Based on the research results,we put forward the following protection management opinions and suggestions:(1)Strengthen publicity, education and supervision, and increase protection awareness;(2)Strengthen the protection of the original vegetation in the area;(3)Strengthen the habitat monitoring and monitoring of the Sichuan snub-nosed monkey and Yunnan snub-nosed monkey management.
