Research On The Earthquake Disaster Prevention Work Of Jingzhou City

A series of major casualties and property losses were caused by the large earthquake in the whole world since 21 st century. Because the earthquake cannot be predicted presently, Chinese government gradually begins to pay attention to earthquake disaster prevention. Jingzhou is located in Jianghan seismic belt, which is belong to the earthquake areas of the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River. There were several medium-strong earthquakes in the history, and 90 times above-level-2 earthquakes have been recorded by the modern instrument since 1960. Earthquake will bring great disasters to us, and the most practical and effective way to defend and reduce the earthquake is the earthquake disaster prevention, and how to effectively carry out the earthquake disaster prevention is related to the national economy and people's livelihood.In order to do a better job of earthquake disaster prevention in Jingzhou, enhance the earthquake resistance ability of our city, and maintain the harmonious development of economy and society, this paper analyzes the situation of earthquake disaster prevention in Jingzhou, introduces the achievements, points out the main problems in the real work and analyzes the reasons for these problems. Meanwhile, this paper also introduces the advanced measures of earthquake disaster prevention in the other cities of Hubei Province. By the research, analysis, comparison, induction and summary, this paper proposes the specific measures to improve the earthquake disaster prevention in Jingzhou: at first, it is to improve the information application in the earthquake disaster prevention; the second is to reengineer the process of administrative examination and approval on earthquake; the third is to integrate all resources in the earthquake disaster prevention.
