Study On Distribution Pattern And Hot Spots Of Key Protected Wild Plants In Jiangxi Province

Jiangxi Province is located in eastern China and enjoys a moderate monsoonal climate,excellent water and heat conditions and mountainous environments let Jiangxi become one of important distribution center for “temperate and subtropical flora” and a cradle for many East Asia plants. Meanwhile, there are many wild rare and endangered plants here.The distribution pattern of the key protected wild plants in Jiangxi province were analyzed by the methods of quantitative analysis, GIS technology and GAP analysis,according to the information of documentation, specimen records and Jiangxi Province Second National Key Protected Wild Plants Resources Investigation. The results were as follows:(1)There are key protected wild plants 312 species, including national key 48 species,provincial protected 264 species, 7 families 7genera and 10 species of ferns; Gymnosperm7 families 16 genera and 25 species; 59 families and 156 genera and 277 species of angiosperms.(2) Key protected wild plant species have diverse geographical elements at level of families, genera and species. Families have 7 forms and 8 distribution types, genera 13 forms and 8 distribution types, species 8 distribution types.(3) Among 312 kinds of key protected wild plants of Jiangxi province,there are 41 endangered species,71 vulnerable species,78 rare species,and 122 safer species;Also,there are 87 species should be given conservation priority and 127 species are second,98 species are general.(4) There are 9 hot spots including Mufu mountains, Jiuling mountains, Wugong Mountain, Luoxiao mountains, Nanling Mountains, Yushan Mountain, Wuyi Mountains,Huaiyu mountain and Lushan in Jiangxi province.(5) Based on the GAP analysis of the current protection situation and hot spots, it found that 6 protection vacant, including Huaiyu mountains-Yushan-Dexing area,Wuning-Xiushui area in Mufu mountains, Wugong Mountain-Anfu-Yichun Area, Yushan mountains-Yihuang-Ningdu area, Lichuan area in Wuyi Mountains and Nanling Mountains-Xunwu-Anyuan erea.And some protection suggestions were given as follows: through the analysis of the key protection wild plants in Jiangxi Province, the key elements of the flora, the priority of quantitative analysis, distribution pattern, hot spots and GAP analysis,To provide scientific and reliable advice for the planning and construction of natural protection in Jiangxi province, At the same time, it also provides basic data for the scientific implementation of biodiversity conservation in Jiangxi.
