This paper mainly used the remote sensing data to classify the land use type in 2000,2003,2007,2011 and 2015. Land use changes and evolution characters from 2000 to 2015 are discussed in this thesis from different angles,and then,the thematic maps are obtained.Through field investigation and analysis, on the basis of Pressure-State-Response Model, this paper establishes an evaluation index system for landscape ecological security of Maoxian county. Using analytic hierarchy process(AHP) to determine the contribution of each index weight, then comprehensive index method is used to calculate collect landscape ecological security composite index value of Maoxian county in 2000, 2007 and2015.With the support of Arc GIS software, according to the level scale of landscape ecological security system, the landscape ecological security situation is divided into five levels from low to high, including bad level, risk level,sensitive level, good level, safety level. Using transfer matrix to analyze the dynamic change process of landscape ecological security of Maoxian county during 2000 to 2015.It shows that: the ecological security level of Maoxian county transfered smoothly, the transform area and proportion both keep stable..The changes of security level including three types,that is,safety level to good level, good level to safety level,bad level to risk level. The study results provide useful guidance and reference significance for land use planning of Maoxian county,and also for the ecological environment governance of dry river valley area.
