In recent years, with the infiltration of foreign companies and the rise of private enterprises, the talents of state-owned enterprises increasingly drain. The loss of active and non-contractual of employees, especially the loss of key technology and senior manager, having serious and even fatal effects to an enterprise. 60% of the state-owned enterprises in our country are facing the problem of brain drain. Many enterprises considered that the brain drain on the enterprise caused serious losses.Based on the indicators of employee performance evaluation system of Nanhai West Corporation of CNOOC(not researched in this article), the characteristics of brain drain mapped by performance indicators were explored and 42 factors which affect the brain drain were summarized. The main factors of personality traits, work experience and core technology ability that affect the brain were pointed out through regression analysis, and recommendations were proposed to reduce the brain drain of Nanhai West Corporation of CNOOC: Create a positive corporate culture and cultivate the corporate identity of employees; create a multi-channel promotion opportunities for employees to look forward to the future; provide a good working environment and reduce the stress of employees; understand the core needs of employees and retain technical talents. Thus provide some references to further development and utilization of talents.
