Enterprises competition, in the final analysis is the talent competition. In today’s economic globalization and knowledge economy has become increasingly deepened, enterprise management make focus on human resource management. Compensation system design is the key content of enterprise human resource management. Effective compensation system could motivate staff ’s enthusiasm and initiative, enhance the benefit of organization. To enterprises’ continue, stable and rapid expansion, is of great practical significance. To design scientific and reasonable compensation system, motivate staff ’s enthusiasm and initiative, attract and retain excellent relents is the crucial step of realizing human resource strategy. And also is a key job for enterprises long-term development strategy. This article aims to improve design of compensation system through analyzing Harbin Turbine Company Limited, and its organization structure and characteristic of the position.This article applies relevance theory of modern compensation design, combine development trend of modern compensation management. It analysis HTC’s current situation of compensation system, open questions and necessity of improve design. As design principles of validity, fairness, competitiveness, economy, motivate, operability, strategic orientation, flexibility. Based on work analysis, job evaluation, and compensation investigation, according to enterprise’s physical truth, respectively design optimum proposal of manager, auxiliary personnel, technical personnel, manufacturing personnel. The core part of this article is improving design of HTC compensation system. From basic facility design, pay element design; benefit design, performance assessment design to project concrete implement and supporting measure, complete the creative design of HTC’s compensation gradually and systematically. This article confirms compensation according to position value, and carries out link pay to performance through performance evaluation mechanism.Improved compensation system will play a good effect in HTC, and could solve existing problems, also give full play to promoting incentive function of compensation.
