With the rapid development of market economy, more and more requirements have been put forward to the enterprises caused by competition. Establishing and improving the outstanding enterprise culture are the differentiated battle in the field of market competition. Unique enterprise culture will be gradually formed in each developing enterprise, so the competition of market is exactly the competition of enterprise culture. Therefore, the attention has been drawn to the construction of enterprise culture gradually, and further discussion and investigation are necessary.Electric power industry is the foundation and the lifeblood of the national economy. Since the PRC established in 1949, domestic electric power industry has made remarkable achievement. The situation of power supply has taken a journey from a serious shortage in the past to a balance development at present. Enterprise culture has played an important role and provided an inexhaustible driving force for enterprise development.In the course of development, C electric power company gradually established its own unique enterprise culture. However, as the competition increasing, technique and management innovating, the original enterprise culture encounters several new problems. In this paper, on the basis of theoretical explanation and empirical analysis, by use of research methods such as the literature research and questionnaire, taking quantitative and qualitative, general idea of a combination of empirical and normative, the use of management science, economics, sociology and other aspects of knowledge, with the C power company as the research object, the status of enterprise culture of the company are the research, and put forward the optimization scheme of enterprise culture construction.First, the relevant theories and concepts involved in this paper are described. The domestic, abroad research on enterprise culture was summarized as the theoretical basis for this study. Second, the characteristics of electric power industry were analyzed, the requirements of power industry to enterprise culture were analyzed at two aspects which are the external and internal factors. The contents of the electric power enterprise culture construction were proposed. Third, questionnaire was applied to analyze the situation of enterprise culture construction of C electric power company. The achievement of company unifying enterprise culture construction, and the deficiencies were also discussed. Fourth, the guiding ideology, principles and detailed measures of C electric power company enterprise culture construction system optimization were described. Fifth, to ensure the stability of the enterprise culture construction system, some relevant safeguards were proposed.In this study, it is concluded that the fundamental purpose of enterprise culture construction of C electric power company should be to accommodate the development of the socialist market economy, to meet the needs of the development of the company, and to devote much attention to the basic interests of employees. C electric power company should focus on establishing culture with ideal, cultural concept of people-oriented and cultural system with innovation, for the rapid development of the company. In this paper, a comparatively systemic thorough method of assessing and optimizing the construction system of enterprise culture is proposed, providing references and thoughts for the company managers.
