The Study On The Stability Of Business Ecosystems

With the world economy becoming increasingly tight, market competition will increasingly become fierce. The competition among enterprises also emerges among the enterprises’ business ecosystems. The competition among enterprises also emerges among the enterprises’ business ecosystems. The stability is the basis of the business ecosystem. Internal and external factors will impact the stability of the business ecosystem. In order to maintain the business ecosystem healthy and stable forever, we must sort out all of the factors affecting the stability of the business ecosystem and know how these factors affect the stability of the business ecosystem. To achieve this goal, this study used the niche theory and the symbiosis theory in ecology to study the business ecosystem’s stability.This study based on the domestic and foreign scholars’ research, combining with the characteristics of automobile manufacturing business ecosystem, Firstly, this paper theoretically analyzed the stability of the business ecosystem. And the paper expounded the connotation and characteristics of the stability of the business ecosystem, and proposed three stability dimensions which come from the business ecosystems’ interior---- enterprise capabilities, system architecture, and enterprise relations. On the basis of above analysis, the paper defines the influencing factors of the stability in the business ecosystem and built the interpretative structural model of the facts of the stability. Secondly, the paper used the niche theory to theoretically analyze the stability of the business ecosystem and built the enterprise niche model to empirically tanalyze he stability of the business ecosystem. The results show, most of the enterprise niches in the XX business ecosystem have separated. And a small part of the enterprise niches in the XX business ecosystem have overlapped. However, there are several enterprises have completely overlapped niche. Lastly, this paper analyzed the stability in a business ecosystem by using the symbiosis theory and built the enterprise symbiosis model to empirically analyze the stability of the business ecosystem. The conclusion indicated the symmetry mutualisms among the production enterprises in the business ecosystem of Toyota. However, the degree of the symbiosis was different. Meanwhile, the symmetry mutualisms and the asymmetry mutualisms showed the coexistence. It is hard to maintain the cooperation with zero and unequal benefit. Based on the above research, the business enterprise in ecological system can separate niche and achieve new resources to obtain the stability of system structure, also can achieve mutually beneficial symbiosis to make business enterprises have good business relationship in the ecosystem, which provides ways to maintain stability of the system.The research defined the stability of the business ecosystem, enriched the research methods in the field of the stability of the business ecosystem. Through the research, business managers can use the model which has been constructed to measure the stability of the business ecosystem to improve the stability of the business ecosystem and improve operational performance.The innovations of research are as follows:(1) The paper researched the stability issues from the perspective of the business ecosystem and analyzed the stability in the business ecosystem by established the interpretative structural model.(2) Established the stability of the enterprise niche model and the enterprise symbiosis model in the business ecosystem and verified the theoretical model by empirical research.
