Since the reform and opening up, China’s social and economic development speed is accelerated gradually, the rapid growth of social investment in fixed assets, and the construction industry in our country also with ushered in the spring of development, industry continues to expand the scale, the basic role of the market in the economic and social appears day by day. With the development of market economy in our country, construction industry toward the track of market development, the increasingly fierce competition in the industry, under the huge pressure, how does the enterprise adapt to the requirements of the development of the industry, scientific development strategy, so as to enhance their own strength, to survive in the fierce market competition, seek development, has become the major problems they have to consider.The MAX Construction Co., Ltd. as the research object, using the literature research method, case study method, comparative analysis method and other research methods, combined with relevant theoretical analysis tools, to Max Construction Co., Ltd. of the advantages and existing problems are analyzed deeply, in-depth study of the internal and external environment of enterprise, choose suitable its own low cost competition strategy for its to help enterprises to enhance the level of corporate governance, and the max Construction Co., Ltd., clear short-term and long-term development goals and direction, in order to realize the sustainable development in the future to prepare.The main content of this paper is divided into four parts: first, through the research purpose, background and research methods of the topic, as well as the competitive strategy theory research, to prepare for the thesis writing. Then the analysis of the external environment and internal resources of MAX Construction Co., Ltd., through the detailed study of the internal and external development environment of the company, lay the foundation for the next step of competition strategy selection. Followed by the max Construction Co., Ltd. competitive strategy choice, through the SWOT analysis tools, on company has advantages and disadvantages, facing the opportunities and threats analysis, choose low cost strategy for the development of the company. Finally, the company low cost strategy implementation proposal, by changing the enterprise original mode, reduce costs, establish strategic financial management system, enhance the enterprise management innovation and business innovation ability, take a variety of methods and measures to reduce the cost of raw materials, to ensure the implementation of company low cost strategy.
