With the development of knowledge economy, apart from perception of the creation of commercial value by employee, entrepreneurs has begun to gradually realize the important role of human resource in enterprise development. So more and more enterprises have regarded “how to improve employee satisfaction” as strategic thinking and research, investigation of employee satisfaction factors become one of the focus of the modern enterprise management.In recent years, as one of the three major state-owned aviation transportation enterprises, D airline gradually jumped from a business slump to the world first-class airline company after reformation and restructuring. But with the great changes in the company management, social value orientation, it’s become more and more difficult to manage the pilot team, including high staff turnover rate, the poor implementation of the management power, the weak safety awareness. All of these indicate that there are some problems in the pilot management in company. So it become necessary and urgent to investigate D airline pilots satisfaction, explore the existing problems and put forward the strategies.Through reading a lot of references and in consideration of D airline’s own situation and the characteristics of the pilot, the pilot questionnaire was designed independently. The questionnaire consisted of 25 questions involving five aspects of work, including the job itself, the reimbursement from job, the working environment, the personal development and enterprise perceiving. Questionnaires were sent to 10 flying unit of D Airlines, covering 510 pilots in different individual characteristics, 488 valid questionnaires were returned. Through statistics analysis of the questionnaire combined with comprehensive analysis of pilot satisfaction factors and individual factors, the results showed that though D airline pilots are satisfactory with flight job,the development prospects of the company and the expected value of keeping a positive attitude, but still in the low job reward satisfaction, especially salary, vacation and rest, housing welfare and personal promotion. To absolve the related problems and improve the satisfaction degree of pilots,D airlines should be strengthen improvement and optimization in three aspects of strengthening the pay and benefits system and mechanism management, creating a good working environment and atmosphere, and building career development planning platform, according to the actual work.
