Research On The Development Strategy Of Yantai Airport Air Logistics

Air logistics, refers to the process, during which the cargo will be primarily transported from the source to the destination by air, so as to fulfill its efficient flow and storage, as well as to meet the needs of the customers. Air logistics is a major part of the modern logistics system, and is playing a growing strategic role than ever with the increase of the airport cargo throughput. What’s more, as a crucial node in air logistics system, the airport plays a more and more important role.However, as an indispensible part of the air logistics of China, Yantai Airport is still in its infancy. It has become a key and urgent project to work on how to integrate various air logistics resources in a short period for Yantai Airport, so as to foster its strengths and circumvent its weaknesses, to achieve a breakthrough and leap constantly, and finally to fit into the development of the modern air logistics quickly. Based on the air logistics of Yantai Airport, the thesis is trying to explore how to extend and change its traditional business functions, and how to get its air logistics network improved to construct a comprehensive development system of air logistics. The thesis, firstly makes a SWOT analysis of the management environment of Yantai Airport air logistics and a prediction of the airport cargo throughput to work out its development strategy, and then, it elaborates on the key points and detailed measures of its development strategy. One of the main innovations of the thesis lies in that it employs some mathematical models to predict and makes a comparative analysis of some relative data.Based on Yantai Airport air logistics, with an analysis of its internal and external environment, the thesis makes an in-depth exploration of the reasons which constrain its development; in addition, and also proposes some practical objectives and countermeasures for improvement according to three present sticky problems, and aims to provide theoretic reference and practical values to some extent for the development of Yantai Airport, and the local economy of Yantai, and even the regional economy.
