Kunming Changshui international airport was founded in2007, on June28,2012,the comprehensive operation. The airport in Kunming, Yunnan province is located inguandu district water village, about24km away from downtown. KunmingChangshui international airport, formerly Kunming Wujiaba airport, all inherited theoriginal Wujiaba airport route network, and will further expand on the basis of theoriginal network. Currently, the Changshui international airport opening route319.Among them,275domestic routes and international routes and38, six regional routes;Navigable city in118, of which89domestic cities, three regional cities,26international city. Changshui international airport has become China facing southeastAsia, South Asia, connecting Europe, North America, Australia and Africa importantportal of the airport.Kunming Changshui international airport as the only hub airport in yunnanprovince, its development vision is to become China’s important gateway hub airportsin southwest China. Gateway hub airport is a country or a region of the large hubairports in and out border regular flight arrive first and the last to leave the airport,which include three levels of meanings: first, the portal must be a large hub airporthub airport; Second, the gateway hub airport, international flights and end point;Third, the portal is emphasis on transit hub airport hub airport. Gateway hub airport,therefore, is the most internationalized and has higher levels of hub airport, theinternational community portal and port of communication by air way.The purpose of this article is for the gateway hub airport vision to conduct acomprehensive analysis, put forward a complete strategic management framework,the overall strategy, competitive strategy and functional strategy. In this paper, theframework of logical arrangement is as follows:First analyzed the Changshui international airport industry of macroeconomicenvironment and industry environment, then use the SWOT analysis method ofChangshui airport opportunity threat in the external environment, the article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the internal ability, for the overall developmentstrategy of the company. Next, this paper developed the three alternatives on the levelof competitive strategy, cost leadership strategy, differentiation strategy andcentralization strategy. And on the basis of Changshui international airport, the visionand ability of choice. In the strategic level, this paper put forward Changshuiinternational airport should be taken by the operating strategy, financial strategy andhr strategy. Finally, put forward the necessary guarantee for the success of thestrategy implementation strategy.
