Chongqing is the only western Chinese National Center City, municipality directly under the central government, due to its unique geographical location and economic location and other factors, in the development of the western region, the Yangtze River economic belt, the national area plays an important role in the strategy of a road. Chongqing has many characteristics, such as large cities, large rural areas, unbalanced regional development and so on. Therefore, study on the regional imbalance in the income of rural residents in Chongqing City, and how to reduce regional income of rural residents has a demonstration effect, to other provinces and cities in the western region is to solve this problem. The income of rural residents in Chongqing City in the territory after the rapid growth, especially in recent years the growth rate are in more than 10%, but with the increase of income, the absolute gap between the region between the income of rural residents is more and more big, and relative gap showed stage enlarge a trend. The income of rural residents is inevitable from theory, and from the practical point of view, there is a reasonable gap between the regions is a more efficient economic development. But this gap if more and more high and the expansion of the gap between the trend of more and more quickly, the region’s economic development and rural residents life bring negative influence, the talent, capital outflow, resulting in some regional economic development difficulties, so as to form a vicious circle, eventually led to the large number of the region’s population shift, which in other regions will bring bad influence. Therefore, the research on the income gap of rural residents in Chongqing has a certain practical significance, at the same time, the reform and development of functional areas in Chongqing city and the overall realization of a well-off society has a certain strategic significance.The on the basis of the existing research system deeply studied the absolute gap between the income of rural residents in Chongqing city and relative gap, to explore the changing track of regional disparity, and analyzes the causes of the income of rural residents in Chongqing City, Chongqing northeast and southeast area of Chongqing and the other two areas of rural residents’ income gap is formed, the data model analysis on the influence factors of Chongqing agricultural regional income gap, and put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions, so as to strive for the early realization of a well-off society in an all-round way in the city of Chongqing. The main contents of this paper are as follows: first, through the classical literature and the theory of carding and summarized, the impact of rural residents’ income gap mechanism is analyzed. Then use absolute difference index and relative index difference of a comprehensive study of Chongqing city after years of rural residents regional disparities, for different levels of regional income gap of rural residents have done a comparative analysis, and the measure of regional disparity Gini coefficient calculation by using four regions and 37 districts and counties of rural residents’ income data. Next to totally in Chongqing rural residents’ income structure of data analysis, found that the proportion of wage income of rural residents in Chongqing city rose year by year, while the proportion of household operating income is reduced year by year, to 2010, wage income proportion ratio has exceeded the family business income, suggesting that wage income has become the income of rural residents in Chongqing city is one of the most important part. Finally, combined with the actual situation in Chongqing, analyzes the rural residents in Chongqing regional income gap causes, low income of rural residents in Chongqing City area mainly due to poor geographic conditions, scientific and cultural qualities of the population low, regional policy bias limits the development, resulting in these areas of the income of rural residents was lower than that of the other regions. And through multiple linear regression model of rural residents in Chongqing regional income gap influence factors are analyzed. Results show that urbanization level, the level of economic development, transport infrastructure of the three explanatory variables and dependent variables presented negative correlation, that is the three indexes increased long will narrow the regional gap of income of rural residents in Chongqing City, and the total power of agricultural machinery of the explanatory variables and dependent variables presented positive correlation, namely the increase of total power of agricultural machinery but will expand the regional disparity of the income of rural residents in Chongqing city.
