In this paper, the author using the nine years of survey data of Chinese Nutrition and Health Survey(CHNS), decomposes the intergenerational correlation coefficient. It is proved that the occupation as transmission path of the intergenerational income, its contribution to the intergenerational income elasticity was high. The author also using intergenerational occupational transfer matrix analyses the intergenerational occupational mobility status. And based on above analysis, the author analyses the relationship between China’s intergenerational occupational mobility and the intergenerational income mobility. The results of the correlation coefficient decomposition show that within all the transmission path of the intergenerational income, the contribution rate of the children’s career choosing is the largest, while the income of children has a significant positive correlation with the father. The contribution rate of the parents’ health and education investment to the intergenerational income correlation coefficient was 1.9% and 1.6%respectively.The intergenerational occupational transfer matrix shows that the intergenerational occupational mobility is poor, and the degree of occupation thansfer is very high.Intergenerational occupational mobility status in urban family is good. Overall, the probability of "son inherited his father’s career" in rural households was greater than that of urban households. The level of intergenerational occupational mobility in rural areas is lower than the national level. The open degree of the vocational level of our country is generally small, the flow rate is low, and there is a trend of curing among the classes. The calculation of the elasticity coefficient of the intergenerational income shows that the coefficient of elasticity of intergenerational income of our country residents is 0.564;the elasticity coefficient of intergenerational income of rural household is 0.587; the elasticity of the income of urban households is 0.500, which shows that the mobility of the intergenerational income is poor.An analysis of the relationship between intergenerational occupational mobility and intergenerational income mobility in china shows that the thansfer of the occupation between the genenations is a significant obstacle to the intergenerational income mobilityof family in our country. In rural families in China, the role of this kind of function is obvious, but in our country, there is a relatively weak role in the generation of intergenerational incomemobility in urban areas. The role of intergenerational occupational succession to the intergenerational income mobility also has obvious gender differences.Among them, firstly, the succession of the intergenerational occupation between father and son is more obvious, and the role of the intergenerational succession of income is more obvious between father and son as well; Son’s occupational inheritance from his father greatly affect intergenerational income elasticity, that its conbtribution to intergenerational income elasticity. It means comparing with the existing occupational inheritance family between father and son, the intergenerational income elasticity would be 0.598 higher than other families. Then, the intergenerational occupational transmission of the mother and daughter is less weak. Occurpational succession between father-daughter and mother-son do relatively little contributions to the intergenerational income succession. Finally, according to the results of data analysis and empirical research, the paper summarizes the full text, and puts forward relevant policy suggestions from the aspects of promoting the balanced distribution of education resources, improving the employment market, promoting fair employment, establishing a fair competition.
