The mobility of migrant workers' occupation is a common phenomenon in the labor market.However,with the growth of the new generation of migrant workers,the differences among the migrant workers have gradually expanded.The frequency of the new generation migrant workers' occupational mobility is greatly enhanced,which leads to the intergenerational difference of migrant workers' occupational mobility.Under the background of the shortage of skilled workers,migrant workers' occupational mobility has become a problem that can not be ignored.Therefore,how to scientifically and reasonably guide the migrant workers to choose the correct way of mobility is particularly important.In view of this,The paper is based on the extensive study the relevant papers of migrant workers' occupational mobility,based on human capital theory,career search theory and labor market segmentation theory.Taking the migrant workers in Fuzhou and Quanzhou as the research object,through interviews and questionnaires to understand the basic employment situation of migrant workers in Fuzhou and Quanzhou.Secondly,to analyze the reason and mechanism of the intergenerational differences to migrant workers' occupation mobility.which from the theoretical level to analyze that influence factors of the intergenerational differences to migrant workers' occupational mobility.such as individual characteristics,human capital,social capital,work status,occupation expectation and so on.And how these factors influence the migrant workers' occupational mobility.Furthermore,the paper uses zero inflated negative binomial regression model to analyze the intergenerational differences of migrant workers' occupational mobility.and finding out the main factors that may influence the new generation and the older generation migrant workers' occupational mobility.Finally,this paper uses the Oaxaca-Blinder decomposition method to analyze the reasons of intergenerational differences to migrant workers' occupation mobility.Research shows that gender,age,education level,the number of friends that often contact,the nature of the workplace,the number of worke days per week,whether there is arrears of wages and whether to sign the labor contract have significant impact on the new generation of migrant workers' occupational mobility.The marital status,working years,education level,the number of family members working in the city,the number of friends that often contact,the nature of work,whether to sign the labor contract and the job satisfaction have great influence on the older generation of migrant workers' occupational mobility.Meanwhile the two generation of migrant workers' occupational mobility have 73.832 percent from the difference of characteristics.And the working years is the main cause to intergenerational differences of migrant workers' occupation mobility.Finally,according to the characteristics of the migrant workers'occupational mobility in Fuzhou and Quanzhou.Starting from the perspective of intergenerational differences to put forward some policy suggestions,such as improving the employment situation of migrant workers,improving the quality of employment of migrant workers;strengthening the accumulation of human capital,enhancing employment competitiveness;broadening the social capital of migrant workers,building social support networks;enhancing the humane care of migrant workers,improving the employment service systems.
