Although traditional engineering material management guarantees the demands of engineering construction materials, but there is no effective managements to engineering materials in holistic perspectives and procedural perspectives. In addition, the information sharing degree is low and there is no synchronous decision-making mechanism among development organization, supplier, the third party logistics and construction contractor. The level of coordination is low in the process of material supply, and the bottleneck of efficiency is difficult to break. In this paper, it puts forward to studying the project of material management based on supply chain coordination, to solve the problem of the low level of coordination and the bottleneck of efficiency.It takes the material management of engineering in X Mobile Company, affirming its bottleneck problem in the engineering material management, such as the accuracy rate of demand is low, the system of storage is too many to manage, the distribution efficiency is low, and the information system without integration is bad. They found by means of analyzing the process of engineering material supply, the structure of organization, purchasing management, warehouse management and logistics management. Then, it puts forward to explore how to improve the efficiency of engineering material management based on the thought of supply chain collaboration. It analyzes the collaborative management of engineering material in X Company from the feasibility, necessity, and the elements of supply chain collaboration. At the same time, it makes the collection of strategy, tactics, and operation to the system of collaborative management. They are based on Combing the literature in supply chain collaboration and engineering material management, and analyzing the present situation of X company management. Finally, it formulates solution to the low levels of demand accuracy, the so bloated system of storage, the low distribution efficiency, Information system without integration based on the management strategy.It puts forward the "demand planning management, demand submission management, purchasing management, demand management" of the whole life cycle of the demand of control system. It combs the demand planning management process, sets up the department of demand management, optimizes the submission process of the requirements, standards the requirements processing procedure, and sets up the evaluation mechanism according to the need of deviation, material demand applicability.It puts forward to establish RDC in the province, cancels the local warehouse and county warehouse, alters the system of storage to flat and on the basis of RDC strategy, it combs the process of order, delivery and transfer under the VOI, puts forward to share the inventory information, "demand, purchase and manufacture" collaborate and roll mechanism. Aiming at the problem of low efficiency of distribution, it puts forward the collaborative distribution mechanism, clears the demand of every stage of all projects, standards the collaborative process among procurement, logistics and engineering construction, implements safeguard measures of collaborative distribution mechanism. In addition, it puts forward the "province, RDC" distribution carrier management system, standardizes the management of the carriers.For information system problems, it puts forward the improving and optimizing the existing module-integrating within existing system-implement docking with the external system "three steps of system optimization and integration of supply chain strategy.It optimizes the project material management system of the X mobile company, breaks through the bottleneck problem efficiency based on supply chain coordination strategy. In addition, it has certain theoretical value from the perspective of supply chain collaboration to study of material management, for other enterprise’s material management has certain reference significance.
