With the accelerating process of economic globalization, business between international enterprises has become an irreversible trend. After China joined WTO, the relationship between China and the whole world are getting more and more closer. As an important force in Chinese economic, private enterprises are actively implement the international strategy to participate in the international competition ranks. Private enterprises to invest overseas and to allocation of resources on a global scale, can make them constantly improve their business innovation and competitiveness. The activities of private enterprises about production and business in the internationalization, have crossed the national borders together with cultures. It’s an business behavior, but also a social behavior. Therefore, China private enterprises must face the cultural differences from different cultural systems and its influence. To this end, cross-cultural study of multinational management has become a very important practical significance.In this paper, firstly, from the two different angles like "internationalization" and "cross-cultural management", we referenced some mature theories created by foreign scholars, and some research conclusions made by domestic scholars, in order to build a theoretical framework for this paper; Secondly, through the statistical data from multiple years of research, we analyzed the status of private enterprises in China’s international growth, and divided them into two different levels as large-scale private enterprises and small and medium private enterprises, we also made a detailed analysis of their international growth stage, involved industries and regions. Thus, we obtained that Chinese private enterprises are in a fast growing period. Next, the paper analyzed two important factors which affect cross-cultural management:cultural differences and cross-culture management mode, it pointed out that cultural differences are mainly in three aspects: values, ideas and talent management practices. Also by comparing four modes of cross-cultural management, it pointed out that if companies ignore the cultural differences, or do not according to their actual situation to select the appropriate mode of management, it will lead a lot of problems, such as management system confusion, blurred business objectives, communication difficulties and lack of international management personnel. Through progressive analysis, this paper finally raised some recommendations and countermeasures from the following parts:Formal cultural differences, cross-cultural communication, conduct cross-cultural training, cross-cultural personnel selection, cross-cultural integration.
