Online games have been officially recognized by the Internet since 2000. During the past sixteen years, China online game has developed with amazing speed and its output now ranks the first in the world. Online game has become the hard core to push the take-off of the domestic Internet industry. The online game enterprise plays a decisive role along with the online game’s germination to maturity. In the era of Internet economy, online game enterprise confronts with the problems of the changing network science and technology, the rapid iteration of the game product and the intensified market competition at the same time. In the face of capitalization and the new trend of the entertainment and internationalization, it is crucial for the online game enterprises, especially the listed companies, to create or maintain their own competitive advantages. Therefore, it is significant to evaluate the enterprises’ competitiveness objectively, to make it clear about the enterprises’ competitive weaknesses, and seek positive, targeted advice to promote competitiveness for the online game listed companies.The researches about online game companies of the current academic circles focused on the business model, profit model, the structure & preferences of the consumer, virtual product trading,external phenomena and private servers, etc. The research of enterprise competitivene ss is very few, and the sample is too small, the research method of the single(mostly AHP). Taking the competitiveness of the online game listed enterprise as the research object, this thesis defines the enterprises’ competitiveness, the connotation of the online game and the online game enterprises. On the basis of relevant theories, this thesis analyzes the present developing situation and competitiveness of China’s online game enterprises. Then it develops the enterprise competitiveness evaluation index system. The thesis introduces the factor analysis method, makes an empirical research on the key 20 sample enterprises’ competitiveness, and gives some suggestions on how to improve competitiveness. This is not only to the online game enterprise competitiveness theory and research methods have been rich, also to the enterprise management and decision-making of stakeholders have certain guiding significance. The research results are as follows:Firstly, it clarifies the development of China online game indus try, and point out the problems which have hindered the healthy development of the industry, such as the lack of professional talents, product homogeneity, private servers, external phenomena, etc. The thesis has elaborated the current situation of China online game enterprises’ competitiveness regarding the enterprise scale, intangible resources, operation ability, profit ability, scientific research ability and the ability to export.Secondly, rating the 20 online games listed enterprises competitiveness by SPSS factor analysis method, the thesis has constructed an online game listed enterprise competitiveness model. Based on the competitiveness scores of the enterprises, it then gives an analysis of the enterprises’ comprehensive competitiveness and the individual competitiveness. Studies show that the higher the score, the more competitive of the enterprise, and single score can reflect the enterprise competitive weaknesses.Thirdly, giving an comprehensive analysis of online games listed enterprises’ development stage and the current status combined with the actual existing problems in the competition and influence factors that affect the comprehensive competitiveness of the enterprise, the thesis gives five suggestions to promote online game enterprise competitiveness: optimize the scale, be creative to the profit model, pay more attention to the scientific research innovations and professional talent training, operate capitals more positively and improve enterprises’ export ability by multiple ways, etc.
