Research On The Competitiveness Of Enterprise R&D Institutions In Suzhou

With the construction of innovative cities,the development and competition of regions are increasingly reflected in the development and competition of enterprises.As the main carrier of enterprise innovation,the competitiveness of enterprise R&D institutions is directly related to whether enterprises can achieve technological innovation and sustainable development.Suzhou is one of the leading cities of innovation in China.The enterprise R&D institutions in Suzhou have undertaken the major innovation activities.How to enhance the competitiveness of enterprise R&D institutions,improve the innovation ability of enterprises,and promote the industrial transformation and upgrading and innovation development of Suzhou has become the focus of attention.This paper analyzes the relevant theories of competitiveness based on enterprise R&D institutions and define competitiveness of enterprise R&D institutions.It explores the influence mechanism and influencing factors of the competitiveness of enterprise R&D institutions,and establishes a theoretical model of the factors which influence the competitiveness of enterprise R&D institutions.Based on the factor theory model,we choose 15 indicators from six aspects: R&D investment,R&D conditions,research results,innovation output,economic environment and government support.The evaluation index system of the competitiveness of enterprise R&D institutions is constructed,and the evaluation method of competitiveness is clearly defined.According to the evaluation index system,this paper selects 1309 of enterprise R&D institutions in Suzhou as the research sample.Using the SPSS software factor analysis method,this paper makes an empirical analysis on the competitiveness of the R&D organization of the sub regional enterprises in Suzhou,and draws the following points: The enterprise R&D institutions in Suzhou has formed three core circles,headed by industrial park,high and new zone and Kunshan city.The gap of competitive level is large,and the phenomenon of "one strong and weak" appears.There is a common phenomenon is lack of R&D investment and low transformation ability of innovation results.Its R&D activities are focused on applied research,less creative basic research,and too much reliance on government support and the impact of the economic environment.There are some problems,such as the lack of the successor of the core innovation ability.The ability of independent innovation is relatively deficient.Finally,through the comparative research on the cities of Shenzhen and Hangzhou,two enterprises with outstanding innovation ability are compared.Revealing the problems existing in the R&D institutions of Suzhou enterprises,this paper puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions to improve the competitiveness of enterprise R & D institutions.
