Systematic Design On Service And Logistic Support Of SWIFT′s Products

SWIFT is a company which main business covers national defensive electronic system and device research/development, manufacturing, and service in multiple areas, and stays a leader role in national wide. Along with rapid development in electronic, computing and internet technology, products in SWIFT is developed in high complexity, integration, informatization, and intelligent. But in other hand, maintenance and service becomes an obvious issue in modern military operation, for example, incompatible equipment, difficulty in maintenance, high maintenance cost, service delay, and so on. Meanwhile, due to the impact of security situation in global and local areas, high quality of military equipment is requested by military customer. Customer complaints are raised against SWIFT products, and high management present is requested in order to deal with field issues.It is demonstrated in this article that, issues in maintenance and service areas are figured out base on the investigation of current development, manufacturing, and service and maintenance system, analysis of internal and external environment, customer satisfaction survey, and then compliance of customer acceptance criteria and military standard. Eventually, product maintenance and service management system is established in SWIFT in order that product integrated logistic support and design rules of product reliability, serviceability, maintainability, security, testability, and environment suitability are implemented in product design and development phase. So that, product is designed for high serviceability from very beginning, and can be maintained and supported completely and timely after delivery to customer, which leads high competitiveness. Along with current problems in product service and logistic support are resolved.
