Since the 21st century, with China’s rapid economic and social development, population aging has become increasingly prominent. The sixth national census in 2010 showed that 13.26% were above 60 years old, an increase of 2.93 over 2000 census and the population over 65 years old are 8.87% of the population, up 1.91 percentage points over the 2000 Census. In a rapidly aging population, the researchers found that about 1/6 of the elderly are willing to continue to engage in a variety of work. Employment of the elderly has a significant impact on the economic and social development and the aging work, employment factors analysis helps the elderly to provide a reference for the development of scientific and reasonable employment policy. In the first chapter introduces the background and significance, literature review and research papers framework and methods. The second chapter elaborate on the concepts of employment and related economic principles for the country’s aging population and the factors that may affect employment phenomenon is analyzed. The third chapter is empirical variables selected to conduct a feasibility analysis and description on the empirical test data used for the derivation and application methods Logit models were elaborated. The fourth chapter of the measurement results of the regression analysis of the resulting software. The fifth chapter is to analyze and discuss the results obtained and the front and make policy recommendations on the "delayed retirement" were discussed separately. CHARLS (China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Survey) statistical data provided by the China Center for Economic Research, Peking University Institute of National Development, we choose a variety of factors that may affect the employment of older people as an explanatory variable, select whether the employment of older persons as dependent variable selected 1240 data from 17,425 in the valid data on the factors affecting the employment of older people for statistical analysis, the use of the discrete binary Logit regression model to empirical problems.By the results of the regression analysis, the elderly health and education levels were positively correlated with employment aspirations, the age and whether have pension and marital status were negatively correlated with employment aspirations, while women are more likely to employed than men, agriculture accounts older people are more strongly than non-agricultural household employment of work willing. These factors indicate that the complexity and diversity of the elderly employment aspirations, so the elderly population in developing employment policies when we should take full account of these differences, a reasonable guide for the elderly population to carry out jobs according to their characteristics and practical needs of the elderly not to engage across the board and to the point probable surface; rational development of older power resources, so that there is willingness and ability to continue to play the real heat of the elderly into the cause of reform and opening to promote social progress and development; development of scientific and reasonable Elderly employment policy, so employment willing and employment behavior of the elderly are well unified, so that positive economic and social development but also benefit the majority of the elderly population and improve their standard of living and mental satisfaction.
