With the rapid development of China's economy and the improvement of people's quality of life,people's life expectancy is increasing,and the proportion of the elderly population is rising.With the deepening of the aging process,the structure of labor force in our country has changed,and the proportion of the working age population declines,which affects the balanced development of the labor market.It is an important way to promote the re employment of the elderly to deal with the problem of population aging.The retired elderly population has a large number of human resources and a high level of human capital,which has unique advantages in knowledge and skills,work experience,life experience and so on.To encourage the elderly to re employment,can effectively alleviate the pressure of labor shortage,make full use of the retirement of the elderly in the quality of human capital,the value of the elderly.Based on this background,this paper takes the human capital theory,employment theory and active aging theory,combined with empirical analysis,respectively from the factors of personal characteristics,family characteristics and community characteristics of the three aspects to explore the impact of China's re-employment of retired people.Through the use of Chinese health and Retirement Survey(CHARLS)data,based on the descriptive statistics of the variables,using the Logistic model to get the regression results,and robustness test using probit model.The results show that the retired people's gender,age,education,health,pension,retirement position,financial assets and community economic level has significant effect on re-employment.Personal characteristics in men than women re-employment chances;age and health has a positive effect on employment;higher education level,employment intention is strong;retired cadres identity is more reluctant to re-employment status of workers;old age pensioners relatively does not receive the re-employment will reduce.Family characteristics,the number of financial assets affect the probability of re-employment.Community characteristics in affluent communities are more likely than the poorest communities in retired elderly people to stay at home,no employment.According to the results of empirical analysis,this paper puts forward relevant policy recommendations.At the national level,according to the different types of older people to develop a policy to extend the retirement age,improve the legal system,improve the quality of medical and pension services to protect the rights and interests of the elderly and living standards.At the level of the elderly themselves,we can enhance the awareness of health care for the elderly,maintain the physical and mental health of the elderly,enhance the enthusiasm of participating in the community,and continue to contribute to society.
