The Study On Selections Of The New Urbanization Road Of Huaihe River Basin

Urbanization is the inherent requirement of building a moderately prosperous society. It is a process from traditional agricultural society to modern industrial and urban social. It is also a major symbol of modern social civilization and progress. There are three types of people on the process to urbanization. The first one is the farmer who transfer to urban residents on the process of urbanization, the second one is people who still stay in the village and the third one is the original inhabitants of the town. This paper is based on the transfer of farmer to urban residents and the distinctive feature of Huaihe River Basin. By studying the relevant theoretical and empirical analysis on the agricultural transferring population to urban residents of Huaihe River Basin,this paper is trying to seek a new urbanization selection mechanism of the Huaihe River and achieve truly people-oriented. So that we can achieve a reasonable, orderly and efficient process of urbanization, we can also take a sustainable road of the new urbanization.Firstly, we make a review on the study of new urbanization from domestic and foreign literature and make a brief comment. Summarize the basic theory, the concept and the associated phase of urbanization. Though the gathering- diffusion theory and ternary structure theory to research the basic theory and the stage of development. Then we propose a new scientific connotation of the new urbanization and determine the perspective of this article.Secondly, we make a detailed study to the urbanization development status of Huaihe River Basin from the level of economy, population, lifestyle, land and environment. Then we make a empirical analysis from the perspective of agricultural transferring population to urban residents and build a index system to evaluate it. Using principal component analysis to reach a comprehensive score on the prefectural-level city of the Huaihe River Basin. Establishing a fixed effects model through panel data to study and draw the factors affecting the level of the agricultural transferring population to urban residents.Last, according to the conclusions of above research, we put forward that we should uphold the concept of people-centered, the mode driving by transportation hub and center city, the road of new urbanization under planning leads institutional guarantee. Finally, propose several informative and practical policy recommendations to promote the development to the new urbanization of Huaihe River Basin.
