This paper was completed based on the theory of modern enterprise competition strategic management theory. After thoroughly analyze Shanghai Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. external environment and internal environment as well as its advantages and disadvantages, this paper summed up the company’s external environment may bring opportunities and threats. The theory of value chain, core competitiveness theory and SWOT matrix theory are comprehensively used to analyze the actual situation of the company. It is to point out that the differentiation strategy is the most suitable strategy for the development of the company for the time being. Finally, the company has to be prepared with the basic management, differentiation strategy, human resource managements, optimizing the value chain, brand strategy, enterprise culture, management information system constructions and implementation plans.This paper is the firstly to study the competitive strategy of the surfactant industry network in Shanghai Fine Chemical Co., Ltd., which is a meaningful attempt and exploration. The features of this paper are applying theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems. By paying attention to qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, it pertinently, practicably, feasibly, provides a strong practical guidance for Shanghai Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. to obtain sustainable competition, and it gives certain reference and help to other enterprises in the same industry.
