Since the reform and opening up, China’s rapid economic development, as the most important part of tourism industry, hotel industry has been developing rapidly. At the same time,along with the hotel industry internationalization, chaining, quickening trend of collectivization, the monomer hotels like HY hotel can neither on hardware facilities and the pursuit of high-end luxury, service level has reached the first-class international hotel, also can’t and on cost control is very good, good marketing channels, price moderate compared to the budget hotel chains, living space was squeezed. HY operation and development of the hotel into the bottleneck period, thus to find a suitable competition strategy of HY hotel development, it has very important practical significance.In this article to study HY hotel belongs to the small and medium-sized economy independent hotels, if you want to stand out in the hotel industry market, take the necessary competitive strategy. By reading a large of domestic and foreign relavant theory of literature, books and with the method combining the enterprise actual situation to HY competition strategy formulation and implementation. Mainly includes two kinds of literature:one is the basic competitive strategy theory of enterprise, the second is the hotel industry competition strategy related literature. First this paper detailed discusses the status of the enterprise competition strategy, goal, types, and the strategic planning process, scholars at home and abroad to the enterprise competition strategy research has a more comprehensive and in-depth; In this paper, the hotel industry in the second category of competitive strategy model is low cost strategy, differentiation strategy and centralization strategy has carried on the theoretical review. These theories and literature research for the further understanding of the three kinds of model of competitive strategy theory as well as China’s hotel industry development and competition strategy laid a solid theoretical basis. The article is divided into seven levels:the first chapter puts forward the research background, research purpose and meaning, research contents and limits; The second chapter mainly is the enterprise competition strategy overview; The third chapter HY hotel situation, development present situation and the difficulties and the overall strategy; The fourth chapter use PEST, porter five model and SWOT strategic analysis tools to analyze the HY the internal and external environment of the hotel. The fifth chapter, according to the actual situation HY hotel and resource environment to develop a HY competitive strategy of the hotel-the differentiation strategy; Chapter vi for the hotel HY the implementation of the strategy of competition and guarantee; The seventh chapter research conclusion and outlook.Research shows that in the current situation, HY hotel to get rid of the predicament, avoid risk in the fierce market competition, and find the breakthrough point, fast growing steadily, and must take differentiation strategy and implementation of the strategy and guarantee.
