Mankind has entered into the 21st century, an era of human resources and knowledge economy. As the core of modern human resource management, the significance of performance appraisal method is far beyond improvement or promotion of employees’ work behavior and improves the overall performance of the enterprise, but also improves the value and competitiveness of the enterprise. This paper will study and analyze the design, construction and application of the performance appraisal method of ERP project employees in H Company.The research objects of this paper are the employees worked for the core business.Based on the concept of performance management, using questionnaires survey and interviews and on the field research on the performance management status of H Company’s employees worked for core business by questionnaires survey and interviews, the author analyzed existing problems in the company’s performance appraisal, and suggest possible solutions to these problems. Through optimizing the performance management system,employees participate fully in the company’s management in an effort to improve staff’s initiative, their individual and the department’s performance, and to provide effective guarantee for realizing strategic goals of the company.The innovation of this paper is to analyze and solve the practical problems of H Company management roundly and optimize the appraisal method for ERP project employees comprehensively which starts with establishing quantitative performance appraise of key indicators (KPI), is also related to the performance goal setting, performance tracking and guidance, appraise appeals handling, performance evaluation results application and other performance management of the whole process,Though performance appraisal is the breakthrough point of this paper, performance management is a systematic project, and understanding the real meaning of performance management and significance has a very important role for strengthening enterprise management. Performance management can fully mobilize the workers’ enthusiasm, initiative and creativity, and further enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises so that enterprises can maintain sustainable development in the fierce market competition.
