Evaluation of surrounding towns economic development C hengdu City through factor analysis extracted 2 main components, main composition 1 and tot al social investment, the per capita net income of farmers have great relevance, named incom e factor; principal component 2 and second industry GDP, cultivated area, rural per capita- net income are closely related, named development factor.the main factors affecting the urban e conomic development is the population, and the major factors affecting the surrounding rural economic development of the second industry. While the urban population and the surround ing townships of second industries of the two key factors to promote economic developmen t positively correlated, urban population growth is not only the promoting effect on the urban economy, also has a promoting effect on the surrounding rural economic growth. Similarly, t he second industry growth of GDP not only can promote the development of the rural econo my, but also has a role in promoting urban economic development.
