With the economic globalization increasingly in recent years, the scale of the project is becoming larger and larger. The owner’s requirement is higher and higher and the function to be realized is more and more complicate, the range of aspects is wider and wider. EPC contracting mode becomes popular in domestic and overseas engineering project due to providing the comprehensive service socialized, specialized and commercialized and has the outstanding characteristics of high speed and low cost.Cost management as the core of project management, because of its direct impact on the economic benefits of the project and is particularly important, is the key to the success of the work affect the project.In this paper, the design institute and construction company reorganization merger of the EPC contractor N companies for the study, a comprehensive study of the status quo N company, EPC project management, cost management, status of the various stages of the company in EPC projects for N Questions and inadequate cost management processes exposed, from the beginning of the project as a whole organizational structure, to specific various stages of implementation, research and analysis, combined with the use of advanced theoretical methods.
