The Construction Of A Comprehensive Risk Management System

Economic globalization and imbalance of world economy in recent years, have made corporations in developing countries face more intense competition, and more sensitive to external risks. Therefore facing up to those risks under the present circumstances, in particular for our large group enterprises, is critical to the existence of business. With the rapid development of China’s economy, most large enterprises have realized the management of cross-regional, industry and business groups. The diversification of investment, integration of the upstream and downstream industries, internal related transactions, funds on the allocation of credit, credit guarantee and other issues among the business groups, all make the risks of group enterprises more complex and unpredictable. Any tiny risk which is out of control can be likely to have a disruptive effect to the whole group. So as the head of the whole group, the holding company has a significant impact on the survival and development of the group as a whole, about the methods, settings and effects of the comprehensive risk management.The author has interned in ⅩⅩⅩ group for one year and has practiced risk management in the internal control department, so on the analysis and summary of advanced domestic and foreign comprehensive risk management theory, this thesis has come up with several suggestions about the construction of a comprehensive risk management system, in the hope of verifying the correctness and practicality of the theory, and providing the theory with amendments. More practical significance is to provide a reference for the construction of the ⅩⅩⅩ group’s comprehensive risk management.This thesis is based on the present theory of comprehensive risk management. The first part is about the introduction of related concepts and theories of risk management, grasping the development direction of the comprehensive risk management theory, and laying the foundation for the construction practice. Then the second part talks about characteristics and risk types of group enterprises, grasping the typical characteristics of group enterprises. The next part focuses on the analysis of the status quo of the risk management of ⅩⅩⅩ group, presenting the necessity of construction of comprehensive risk management system through small cases in reality. And the fourth part elaborates the implementation procedure of framework building, according to COSO-ERM Framework, Guidelines for the comprehensive risk management of central enterprises, DDT Risk Intelligent Management and XXX group’s own situation.The last part summarizes the construction of overall risk management system of XXX Group.
