An Empirical Study On Influence Of China’s Industrial Structure Changes On Economic Growth And Business Cycles

Since China’s reform and opening up, our government started a promotion of industrial restructuring, transformation and upgrading of industrial structure, as one of an important way to promote economic growth. Restructuring and upgrading of industrial structure, speed up a transformation of economic structure, the both elements promoted the rapid development of economy in China. The practice in changing industrial structure and economic development in China, continuously promoted the industrial restructuring, upgrading and also helped to stimulate economic growth. The effective “smoothing” of rapid economic growth have caused business cycles, thus, realized a stable and healthy development of the national economy. All of this, how to effectively change the industrial structure while in promoting our country economy high speed development of the industrial structure change at the same time, the release of “dividend structure” brought about by the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure. Economy promote caused by the steady growth of economy as the government and the educational world attention important topic in our country.Based on the literature review about changes of industrial structure, economic growth and business cycles, this paper review and summarize changes in industrial structure, economic growth and business cycles. The first, I used the basic principles of economics, previous studies of other people and also I sorted out the mechanism of how the changes in industrial structure influenced the mechanism of economic growth and business cycles; the second, I measured a dates of changes in industrial structure and analyzed the bases in this area, I tasted and separated the facts of how the changes in industrial structure influenced the business cycles. The third, I tried to promote my version of how to rationalize and advance industrial structure, tried to promote discussions about a steady growth of national economy. Then, I tested the influences of changes in industrial structure on economic growth. The basic conclusions of my work:① The changes of industrial structure influence economic growth. Business cycles do have a periodic character and differentiation sense, these facts related to Chinese macro-economic area and different regulations in economic policy. After finishing the realization of Chinese economic reform, the government made a lot of measured to improve industrial structure and economic development of China.②The changes of industrial structure influenced economic growth. Industrial structure’s sophistication and rationalization has promoted effect on economic growth obviously, with the role of rationalization of industrial structure on economic growth significantly higher than industrial structure’s sophistication; Rationalization of industrial structure have a stable promoting effect on economic growth, but industrial structure’s sophistication do not.③The changes of industrial structure influenced business cycles. A positive role of rationalization of industrial structure has declined. It also has a bad influence to the business cycles. Industrial structural industrial structural sophistication has a “smoothing” effect to business cycles. In the beginning of Chinese economic reform, industrial structural sophistication intensified business cycles. According to the promotions in industrial structural sophistication, the influence of industrial structural sophistication on the business cycles is constantly increased.
