With rapid development of e-business, social logistics in the country have grown from 38.4 trillion RMB in 2004 to 177.3 trillion RMB in 2012, or a compound annual growth rate of 21.07%. In recent years, the government has introduced Plans of Logistics Adjustment and Rejuvenation and Mid-Term and Long Term Plans of Logistics, as logistics have attracted unprecedented attentions in all circles. Yet, due to slow down of economic development at home and abroad, reduced growth has been a great challenge for the sector. In 2003, the total social logistics saw a year-on-year growth of 9.5%, reduced by 0.3% than the previous year, that of the added value lowered by 0.7%, that of the added value in transportation cut by 1.5%, suggesting a dim future of logistics business with a continued decrease in investment growth. It shows that the previous thriving sector is facing a great number of challenges in economic downturn in the country, which presents a new problem for the business on how to keep rapid growth in the new context of low growth and high cost, under impacts of Internet. In this paper, based on Anji Automotive Logistics Co., Ltd., we use tools such as PEST model, five forces model and internal and external factor evaluation matrix to analyze the corresponding environments of business, in finding out key factors impacting its progress. SWOT matrix analysis is for opportunities, threatens, pros and cons of business in defining its developing direction in the future. Considering scenarios and missions of business, we propose how to innovate business models further for proficiency of automotive logistics, and to expand non-automotive logistics in forming strategic thoughts of international operating capability.
