Application Of 6 Sigma Management Methods

Six Sigma management is a kind of advanced management model and it is a necessary work way of an enterprise. The implementation of Six Sigma management can bring huge financial benefits for the enterprise; it can also reflect the advanced management of an enterprise.This paper first introduces the origin, development and domestic situation of Six Sigma management method. Secondly, this paper have carried on a deep research of the methodology of the Six Sigma management and the statistical tools used in the Six Sigma projects. Thirdly, the paper introduces the DMAIC model of implementing Six Sigma, and the advantages and disadvantages of the model compared with other models. Finally, this paper takes M company as an example of a Six Sigma management project, to discusses the implementation of Six Sigma.Through the research of an actual case, the key factor of successful implementation of Six Sigma project is realized.
