Problems And Its Strategies Of The Cooperation Between Enterprises And Vocational Schools In The Major Of Hotel’s Service And Management

Implementing the talent-training mode of work-study combination, school-enterprise cooperation and internship training is proposed by National Medium and Long-term Educational Reform and Development Program (2010-2020). The Medium and Long-term Talent Development Plans of Fujian Province (2010-2020) also points out that the medium and long-term talent training of Fujian province should be under the guidance of enterprises, take vocational school as a basis, connect school education and enterprise training closely, strengthen the practical and technical talent cultivation, make energetic efforts for developing school-enterprise cooperation. Therefore, exploring the talent training mode of vocational school’s hotel service and management major is not only a trend of vocational education in our country, the important means of talent training in our province, but also the need of hotel industry. This kind of talent training mode will contribute to devloping talents with professional quality and techiniques needed by hotels, will help deepen the reform of the traditional school-centered mode of talent training.Through the methods of interviewing, literaturing, surveying, and comparative analysis, this paper analysizes the importance of school-enterprise cooperation for vocational school’s hotel’s service and management major, basing on the theory of developing school-enterprise cooperation. Combining with the statistics and relevant materials concernning about the current situation of the vocational schools and hotels investigated, this paper summarizes up the existing problems of the school-enterprise cooperation for vocational school’s hotel service and management major. Meanwhile, combining with our professional teaching experience, the duties as a practice guidance teacher and the summary report for participating the school-enterprise program of our school, it analysizes the causes of the existing problems and puts forward the best countermeasures for the vocational school’s hotel service and management major on the basis of choosing the enterprises for school-enterprise cooperation, making plans for the formulation of talent training, constructing the curriculum system, the interaction between the school and enterprise staffs, the cultural integration between schools and enterprises, the intercommunication of the school-enterprise system, the management of the students’ internship training, the talent evaluation, and so on.
