Research On The Efficiency Of Fujian Province’s Agricultural Cooperatives

The agricultural cooperative, as an important operation business, how is its operation efficiency? What factors influence the cooperative operation efficiency? How to improve the cooperative efficiency?To answer these questions, based on the review of related theory (efficiency theory, cooperative theory), (1) to collect the relevant data of Fujian Province in 2012, cooperation of the selection of indicators, the use of DEA model measure analysis of the overall efficiency level of cooperatives; (2) according to the gap between the internal efficiency measure of the same product type cooperatives cooperatives; (3) to explore the factors that influence the efficiency of cooperatives; (4) are proposed based on the effective way of improving the efficiency of cooperatives.Empirical results show that, (1) the efficiency of the whole Fujian province level cooperatives low. Pure technical efficiency is the reason of low efficiency of low technology (technical efficiency can be further decomposed into pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency). Three types of cooperatives efficiency levels compared with the general economic crops, the lowest technical efficiency; technical efficiency of livestock and poultry farming cooperative and pure technical efficiency is the highest; fruits and vegetables cooperatives scale efficiency is the highest. (2) three types of cooperatives within their respective efficiency gap, general economic crop scale efficiency gap minimum; livestock and poultry breeding cooperative technical efficiency and pure technical efficiency differences within the minimum; internal scale efficiency gap fruit and vegetable cooperatives maximum. On the basis of the empirical analysis to explore that, (3):influence factors of cooperative efficiency with the internal and external factors, the scale of strength of human capital, governance structure, property right arrangement. (4) in order to improve the cooperative efficiency, from the rational investment, improve the arrangement of property rights, to improve the governance structure, the use of administrative power in four aspects.
