The Internet industry develops quickly in the 21 st century. Internet companies have a huge impact on the traditional industries with their innovative products. There are hug e market opportunities in the times of great changes. Now internet companies mainly ce ntralized distribute in the first and second tire cities, but less in the third and the forth cit ies. Based on the study of the strategies of A company, this paper will make some enlig htenment on Internet marketing in the third and the forth tier citiesThis paper analyzes the development of Internet companies at home and abroad. It summarize the experiences of the main Internet companies before the appearance of O2 O model, analyzes the influence of the Internet on daily life in detail. It concludes that t he Internet has and will continue to change the world. Then, this paper study the develo pment strategy of A company, first, research why A company lay out in the third-tier cit ies, then, discuss the choices between building a platform by itself and joining a mature platform. This paper focuses on the phenomenon that the traditional information publish ing platforms are replaced by new local information publishing platform taking O2 O as represent.It analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the information publishing platfor m of Wuba and Ganji. The results reach the reasonability of joining Wuba for A compa ny in the third tire city. This paper analyses the development strategy of A company bas ed on SWOT approach and the Michael Porter’s Five Forces Model, analyze the expose d problems of A Company. Finally some suggestions on the later development of A co mpany has been giving:1,sticking to the principle of goal orientation, 2,strengthening th e team-working atmosphere, 3,optimization with three dimensions such as improving th e capacity of marking.
