Since the 21 st century, with the rapid development of the world of the industrial revolution, the rapid development of automobile industry can be described. At the same time, the motor industry has been booming. The face of fierce market competition, how to efficiently develop all types of electrical products to meet customer requirements, is a major issue currently facing the motor vehicle manufacturers. The formulation, with reasonable motor R & D project schedule is very important. J company is a professional engaged in motor vehicle R & D and manufacturing enterprise, in order to meet the needs of different customers in the market, at present the company’s new product development projects more and more, the development cycle is shorter and shorter. All the projects have scramble relation in money, time, person and other resources, which sometimes lead to the resources can’t distribute and use in effect. So how in the J company under limited resources, make a reasonable project schedule, ensure the project completed on schedule, is a pressing matter of the moment J companies are facing in the development of project management in the motor.Critical chain technique is a new project schedule management method, which is the key chain as to project constraints, centralized management of buffer time measures to control the project progress, and always to save resources, reduce consumption, improve the quality of work as a side project concept. Methods of project schedule management and critical chain technology and traditional(critical path, project evaluation and review technique) is different, it not only considers the organizational behavior some conclusions of the study, but also considering the logical relationship between each task and resource conflict.This paper takes J company automobile motor manufacturing multi project management as the background, according to the new product development schedule J plans, using the critical chain method based on the theory of constraints, find the bottleneck resources in the development process, priority setting multi project using the bottleneck resources, and to determine the critical chain of the project, some characteristics and according to the project itself to set up a different buffer, in order to ensure the success of the project. Finally, through the critical chain used in J multi project schedule development, for the company in the multi project resource allocation, and provide scientific basis for process optimization, to enhance the level of project management company.
