On The Industrial Transfer To Henan Province From The Year 1949 To 1957

From the year 1949 to 1957, the economy developed steadily after New China was founded. During this period, the main task of Henan Province, as well as other provinces, was to vigorously resume production and develop economy. Through undertaking coastal enterprises moving to inland and key construction projects during the first Five-Year-Plan, Henan Province, economically backward, pursued an effective way of developing industry based on itself and by virtue of outside force for eight years under the circumstances of deficient modern industry and local financial resources. Efforts made on undertaking industrial transfer and trying to sorting out the development context of industry during the early days of New China were not only beneficial to enrich the research of local economic history, but also actively undertake the new round of inter regional industrial transfer and speed up the development of new industrialization of today.The text can be divided into four parts:Chapter One: Active discussions on the historical conditions of industrial transfer boom to Henan Province at the beginning of the founding of New China from two aspects as its basis and outer environment.Chapter Two: To give an overall presentation of the primary process of industrial transfer to Henan Province at the beginning of the founding of New China as far as migration of coastal enterprises and major construction projects during the first Five-Year-Plan.Chapter Three: Try to make an objective and dialectical analysis of the tremendous achievements and deficiencies of industrial transfer to Henan Province from two perspectives: great significance and historical limitations.Conclusion: Make a reflection to evaluate on the industrial transfer to Henan Province from the year 1949 to 1957.
