As a diversified economy commonwealth, the auxiliary industry of electric power group continues to grow stronger. The group is facing the problem of the management efficiency of main and auxiliary industry is not high and the efficiency of resource allocation is low. Therefore, it has strong practical significance to evaluate the main and auxiliary industry synergistic development of electric power group, find the short board and explore the direction for improvement. Through the evaluation, it can fully promote the collaborative innovation development of main and auxiliary industry, provide reference for improving the management level of electric power group.The main and auxiliary industry collaborative development evaluation of electric power group including two aspects:one is the evaluation of main and auxiliary industry’s collaborative management development level, the other is the evaluation of main and auxiliary industry’s synergy development. Taking a certain electric power group as an example, this paper uses the cooperative development theory and information fusion technology to evaluate the above two aspects deeply. Firstly, the present situation and existed problems of electric power group main auxiliary collaborative development are systematically analyzed. Secondly, considering that the index has correlation or contains redundant information, the VPRS information fusion technology is used to reduce the index before evaluation to effectively improve the efficiency and accuracy of evaluation. Thirdly, with the collaboration management requirements, this paper constructs evaluation index system of power group main and auxiliary industry’s collaborative management development level from the four aspects of strategic, organization, resource and market collaboration, establishes the evaluation model based on VPRS-DS information fusion technology, and carries on the empirical analysis. Fourthly, combined with the characteristics of power group main and auxiliary industry development, this paper constructs evaluation index system of power group main and auxiliary industry’s synergy effect development from the four aspects of management foundation, resources integration, operational efficiency and benefit contribution, establishes the evaluation model based on VPRS-Vague set information fusion technology, and also carries on the empirical analysis.Through the research on the evaluation of power group’s main and auxiliary industry collaborative development, we can see that its collaborative development level needs to be further improved. Accordingly, the improvement proposal is put forward in this paper to promote the main and auxiliary industry collaborative innovation development of power group. In addition, this paper also verifies the applicability of the information fusion technology in the evaluation of collaborative development and provides a new approach for the evaluation of the collaborative development.
