At present, the production of China’s wood resources cannot meet domestic demand, as an important complementary or alternative for wood resources, bamboo carbon sequestration ability is strong, short production cycle, high economic value, it suit the concept of sustainable development. Bamboo industry is one of the eight forest estate industries in Yunnan province, Developing bamboo industry in Yunnan province has advantages, such as natural resources, location and so on. Anyway, Bamboo Industry development in Yunnan province has a good base for resources condition. Developing bamboo industry has important significance for Yunnan’s industry development, ethnic harmony, prosperous in culture to develop bamboo industry. Competitive intelligence is provide service for competition policy makers, With Industry Competitive Intelligence research, can not only provide decision support for internal related businesses industry, promote the rational allocation of resources, also helps to promote the competitiveness of the industry as a whole from the macro, promote regional economic development.
