Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of The New Generation Of The Migrants’ Happiness

In the new period, the Party and the government regard social harmony and people’s happiness as the rule concept, and fight for the people’s happiness persistently. The new generation of migrant workers is an important part of our people, whose happiness is a key criterion to evaluate the social harmony and a significant part of the establishment of a happy city.This paper is based on the clarifying the concept of the migrant works, the new generation of migrant workers and happiness to analysis of the basic characteristics and the status of the migrant workers as well as the factors influencing of their happiness. this paper will investigate the life conditions, working conditions and feeling of happiness of the new generation of the migrate workers in Huizhou City of Guangdong Province by the method of questionnaire investigation and interview, and try to confirm the existing surveys on the feeling of the new generation migrate workers and to back up the survey findings of this paper. Compared with the investigation report of the past and gave a deep analysis to the causes of the main factors influencing the feeling of happiness of the new generation of migrant workers according to the seven different factors, and put forward some feasible suggestions to improve the lives of the newly migrate workers from four aspects including government, enterprise, society, and the new generation of migrant workers themselves etc. The government must promote the reform of census register system actively through public policy to boost rural-urban migration, improve the living conditions of the new generation of migrant workers by perfecting the housing security system, create chances to be employed fairly and equally, strengthen vocational education to raise the level of happiness. A company should emphasize humanistic care, improve working conditions and strengthen the social responsibility of the enterprises, follow the national policies and rules and pay attention to professional growth of the staff. The new generation of migrant workers themselves should plan their career in advance to improve their own quality, learn the related policies to participate in all sorts of activities enhance the psychological quality and expand social circle. Besides, other aspects of the society should reduce social exclusion helping the new generation of migrant workers to integrate with city life, protect the legitimate rights and interests of the new generation of migrant workers. We should make joint efforts to help the new generation of migrant workers improve well-being.
