Due to their great influence, new generation migrant workers have increasingly attracted greatconcern from the whole society. They have been developing into new social groups that connect urbanand rural areas. Their developing trends directly determine social immigration results, the characteristicsand levels of domestic human resources development in rural areas.Empirical analysis, social surveys, literature reference and other research methods are applied inthis paper to analyze occupation training models of new generation migrant workers, aimed at exploringmain problems of the existing training models and making an attempt to put forward somecountermeasures and suggestions. This paper consists of five parts, including the introduction. Chapter One is the introduction to theresearch background and significance of the study. Conceptions of new generation migrant workers andjob training are both reviewed in Chapter Two. The author also explores the related problems of newgeneration migrant workers’ occupation training models. In Chapter Three, mathematical methods areadopted to investigate the present situation and main problems of new generation migrant workers’occupation training models. The author raises some countermeasures. Chapter Five is the conclusion inwhich the drawbacks and further research directions are also listed. The research is mainly done from the following aspects:(1) Marital status, received education, industry, income and training expense are significantly associated with new generation migrant workers’training initiative. Gender, age, and years of employment in cities do not have direct influence on newgeneration migrant workers’ training initiative.(2) The descending order of the ratio of input andoutput of different occupation training models is: enterprise-leading model, government-leading model,institution-leading model and workers self-leading model (3)To achieve optimization of newgeneration migrant workers’ occupation training models, the following measures should be applied: Toestablish and adhere to sound principles; to establish a sound management system, to achieve areasonable move, to construct three-dimensional courses, to strengthen innovation in their occupationtraining and so on.. |
