Abstract/Summary:
China is the world’s most populous country, a huge amount of labor to produce a strongjob demand, to create enormous pressure on employment. Employees difficult job,employment contradictory prominent business recruitment difficulties, how to solve theemployment problem, to find and cultivate new employment growth, become a commonconcern of the government and society and problems to be solved. In recent years, with thedevelopment of information technology and communication technology, e-commerceshowing infinite vitality, it has become the most dynamic economic development, innovation,social impact sunrise industry. E-commerce play a significant role in driving the growth ofcommerce and trade, and promote social employment. According to statistics, China’s onlineretail business has created more than9million jobs, and the number continues to increase,the number2015is expected to reach30million. E-commerce may bring great vitality to thedevelopment of new employment opportunities, therefore, this study will be the employmenteffects of electronic commerce as a research topic, to explore the mechanism of theemployment effects of electronic commerce, and this theoretical and empirical analysis, toenhance the country employment levels, ease employment pressure to provide a scientificbasis.In this paper, based on literature research, summarized the mechanism of theemployment effects of electronic commerce and elaborate. The employment effects ofelectronic commerce on the theoretical model was derived, and integrated spatial effectsbuild e-commerce employment effects of spatial panel data model. Our use of the2005-2012provincial panel data empirical analysis of the level of e-commerce development, theimpact of the level of economic development, wage levels and urbanization effects onemployment. Model estimation results show: the level of e-commerce development in China,the level of economic development to improve the level of employment with the promotionof the role; wages, the level of urbanization to improve the level of employment has a certainextent. Therefore, China should take advantage of e-commerce development, encourage thedevelopment of e-commerce industry, to maintain stable economic growth in order topromote the improvement of employment levels; at the same time according to the status ofsocial development, to develop a reasonable system of remuneration, in promoting theprocess of urbanization is not only the pursuit of speed at the same time the pursuit of quality, to ensure the healthy development of urbanization process, mitigate the negative impact onemployment, and gradually raise the level of optimization to achieve the promotion ofemployment effects.
