Supply Chain Oriented Lean Production Mode Of SMEs

Lean production is the eternal theme of manufacturing enterprises,and is also one of the most effective means to enhance competitiveness of enterprises.With the development of the economy and the progress of the times,the mode of competition between enterprises is evolved from individual competition to competition between supply chains,and further evolves into the "alliance" competition of the enterprises,which is seen in big group company with its large supply chain network and regional economies in Jiangsu and Zhejiang.The lean production mode has been developing continuously,which changes from emphasizing the lean transformation within a single enterprise to focusing on the lean supply chain,and even to pursuing the lean supply chain dynamic alliance.By co-developing and designing products and sharing business information,benefits,and risks,enterprise supply chain alliance is more effective in responding to global market changes to gain and maintain market leadership.Compared with the large enterprises,the small and medium enterprises are undoubtedly at a disadvantage in the fierce market competition.However,they have their own advantages.If these enterprises choose suitable development strategy and adopt appropriate lean production mode,they can play the advantages of their own "small but fast and flexible" to grow and realize the change from small to big,from weak to strong,even in the near future overtake large enterprises and rebuild the industrial structure during their continuous improvements.Firstly,through document research,this paper discusses supply chain oriented lean production mode and new requirement of intelligent manufacturing for lean production.Secondly,according to the characteristics of SMEs,this paper discusses the way of their development,especially explores their lean production mode and development path in theory.At last,the paper proves the correctness of the above theory with the methods and results of COS lean improvement implemented in the past three years.The main conclusions of this paper are supply chain oriented lean production mode of SMEs is the three-layer lean production mode,of which the first layer,the lean concept transformation and the second layer,the lean organization transformation play a role of empowerment and guarantee for third layer pull production mechanism.Due to limited resources and many other reasons,the implementation Lean process of SMEs is phased and complex.Combining theory with practice,this paper will give guidance to practitioners in SMEs both in lean production practice and theory.
