Chinese insurance market opening to the outside world ten years, foreign insurance companies into large-scale city has the increasingly fierce industry competition for the domestic insurance market. The core competition of insurance company is embodied in the competition of the human resources, the competition of the human resources in the final analysis is the competition ability of company performance management. Now the company performance management as the embodiment of comprehensive strength, has received more and more attention of life insurance company. Both the Chinese and foreign life insurance companies, and set up Chinese conditions and suitable for the company’s development strategy and effective performance management system, to improve the efficiency of management and the core competitiveness of enterprises, have important practical significance. At the same time, establish a scientific and effective performance management system is also an important condition to enterprise development, enhance the value of the. Therefore, the study of the insurance industry performance management in actual operation, it has positive significance for theoretical study and practical operation.This paper takes A insurance company as the research object, research method, literature research method, questionnaire and interviews, through empirical analysis, analyzes the current performance management system, found the problem and analyze really the cause of the problem. Based on this, analyzes from five parts, the first part is introduction, the five part of the main contents of this paper are from the research background, research significance, research methods, literature review, and research and framework to elaborate on it; the second part mainly introduces the performance appraisal theory basis, connotation, including performance evaluation of the performance appraisal and performance appraisal system to elaborate on the analysis of the present situation; third part is the implementation of the performance evaluation of A insurance company, the existing problems and the reasons mainly include the A insurance company, performance appraisal of the situation and the current performance appraisal system; the fourth part mainly to optimize the performance appraisal system of A the insurance company, introduces the idea, principle of this chapter from the performance appraisal system, then according to the main problems existing in evaluation of A insurance company performance, optimize performance evaluation; the fifth part for the implementation of the performance appraisal system of A insurance company, the implementation process and guarantee measures including the new performance appraisal system; the last is the conclusion and prospect.
