Traditional Equipment Manufacturing Industries, which are in the core ofand play in the national economy, not embody the comprehensive strength of thecountry, but reflect international competitiveness of that. In recent years, China’sauto parts enterprises are facing unprecedented pressures and challenges becauseof decline in vehicle prices, increased competition among the same industry,rising raw material procurement costs and the impact of the international giants.For businesses, accelerating immediate reaction speed, reducing costs, improvingproduct quality and service are the primary means of improving thecompetitiveness of enterprises and optimizing various aspects. Logistics, as thethird profit source of enterprises, plays a key role in reducing logistics costs andimproving the efficiency of enterprise logistics. Warehousing, as a major part ofthe logistics, plays a major role in the whole supply chain system. Effectivemanagement of auto parts warehouse depends on the reasonableness of facilitylayout. Reasonable auto parts warehouse planning and construction and optimalallocation of layout and cargo warehousing of each functional area is of greatsignificance to reduce logistics costs and improve operational efficiency.Inventory rationalization of enterprise storage systems is important toenhance the efficiency and control of costs and efficient use of storage space.This paper studied the DA Company spare parts warehouse system from twoaspects of warehouse storage strategy and slotting optimization. Through thecurrent situation and analysis of DA company parts warehouse cargo distribution,especially for imperfect storage strategy and operational inefficiencies and otherissues, this paper raised warehousing problems and designed reasonable storagestrategy according to the actual operation, using EIQ analysis method to analyzethe status quo of the storage. And on this basis, this paper optimizedmathematical model of multi-objective cargo to improve operational efficiency component library, shelf stability and security for the optimization goals, usingGenetic Algorithms in MATLAB software environment to solve the model, andthen getting on simulation comparison in the parts cargo shelf. The results showthat the efficiency of the library, the synthesis of the center of gravity of parts,shelf stability has been greatly improved.
