JH Company Based On The Material Supply Management Research Subdivision Of The Procurement Suppliers

Supplier management becomes a core content of procurement management in the process of advancing from Centralized Procurement to Strategic Procurement. International and domestic academics have studied it widely, but most of these studies have focused on the theories. Only limited information is given concerning how to apply the theory to the practice.In this paper, based on adequate supplies segmentation studies and related theories such as supplies subdivision, procurement management, procurement strategy and supplier management theory, etc. we study differentiation of purchasing supplier management system in JH company. ERP theory and procurement characteristics of JH company, a large-scale petrochemical enterprises, are also combined with to solve a variety of problems exist in JH’s supplier management process.First, classify the business supplies reasonably. By using Kraljic matrix, we build a procurement of goods classified positioning model where the vertical horizontal axis is market risk and horizontal axis represents material cost/value. This model helps us get the classification of business supplies and then determine the main types of providers. Second, develop a scientific management system. We study deeply on supplier access, supplier performance evaluation and other aspects. In the same time, information management platform integrated by the ERP and materials procurement and management information systems is designed in order to form a computer-based management information system of supplier management systems. Finally, describes the organization guarantee and institution guarantee of this management system implementation.In this paper, a creative way, the concept of sourcing group, is introduced, in the process of supplies subdivision, which is based on the Kraljic matrix theory. Such segmentation model s is of simple, focused, operable, and other characteristics. Therefore, it is convenient for appli cation.The difference supplier management system studied in this paper can solve the traditiona1supplier management problems, supplier management discriminatory, insufficient supplier d ata of objective evaluation and other issues. And an organic combination between ERP and m aterials procurement and management information systems is a stage of the difference supplie r management as well as a practical reference for informatization of the supply chain procure ment management.
