Fresh agricultural products is the necessaries of life, has a great demand, shortshelf life, easy to corruption, etc. To ensure the safety of fresh agricultural products,stable and efficient supply helps to improve the residents’ quality of life, to reduce thecost of living, maintain social stability, belongs to the livelihood issues associatedwith real people life. With the development of fresh agricultural products logistics,people increasingly realize the importance of inventory in the whole logistics supplychain. So, for any fresh agricultural products logistics enterprises, the inventory is notallow to ignore.With SC company as the research object, this paper through the analysis of thecurrent situation of Handan city fresh agricultural product enterprise’s inventory,combining with the characteristics of fresh agricultural products, pointed out the useof ABC classification, only will be roughly divided into three kinds of freshagricultural products and the single classification standard (capital takes up theforehead) inventory classification of shortcomings and the insufficiency. Based on theanalysis of previous research literature on this problem, on the basis of SC companyof fresh agricultural products inventory classification research is put forward.In this paper, on the basis of the ABC classification is introduced into the AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) optimize the inventory status of SC company, first withthe ABC classification according to the classification standard cumulative amountinventory of SC company inventory of fresh agricultural products classification,divided into A, B, C three categories; Then use the AHP selected by consultingexperts, selected out the storage facility, influence of stockout, seasonality andavailability used as the classification criteria, and invite experts to rate these criteriaweights, so as to calculate the class A (category) the cumulative amount of inventorymost weight of fresh agricultural products, according to the weight sorting tosupervise and control the inventory of fresh agricultural products; Finally points outthat the ABC classification and AHP combined inventory classification method is alsosuitable for other Handan city of fresh agricultural products of the company’sinventory management.
